FAQ
Q. What kind of bus will we be traveling on?
A. Taste-Full Tours is proud to utilize the eco-friendly bio-fuel power of "The Night Move" vehicle. This 30 passenger bus is locally owned and has a zero carbon footprint. When not on a culinary road trip, "The Night Move" makes weekend round trip journeys (at night - hence the name!) between Royal Oak/Ferndale and downtown Detroit. Check them out at www.thenightmove.com
Q. What should I bring with me on the tour?
A. While no additional purchases are required, it may be difficult for you to resist the temptation to purchase some delectable treats while on the tour. We suggest you bring a re-usable tote bag, and Taste-full Tours will provide a cooler for perishables on the bus.
Q. Will we eat a lot on the tour or should we plan to eat before the tour?
A. We didn't call it Taste-FULL Tours for nothing. We will enjoy tastings at all locations and an occasional snack on the bus as well.
Q. Can I sample my wine or beer purchases on the bus?
A. While Taste-Full Tours will not be reminiscent of a fraternity party (no sticky beer on the floor!) participants are welcome to sample their exceptional purchases made at our wine and beer stops. (Taste-Full Tours abides by all state of Michigan liquor/consumption laws. Participants must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages on the tours.)
Q. Where do the tours begin and where should I park?
A. All tours will depart from and return to the corner of 6th and Lafayette Streets in downtown Royal Oak, (adjacent to the parking structure) unless otherwise noted. The first 2 hours are free in the structure and each hour thereafter is only $ .50. What a deal!
