PUBLIC TOUR INFORMATION:

All Tour Times*: 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. *Except Ann Arbor Tour: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Tour start times are firm, however depending on weather, traffic, and/or unexpected extra fun, the ending time may vary slightly.

Each tour cost* $65 per person.  *Except Ann Arbor Tour: $75 per person Group rates are available.

All tours will depart from and return to the corner of 6th and Lafayette Streets in downtown Royal Oak (adjacent to the parking structure) unless otherwise noted.

ANN ARBOR TOUR: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The whole concept of Taste-Full Tours began with our visit last summer to this fabulous mid-western food mecca.  Ann Arbor is home to Zingerman's deli, of course, but also Zimgerman's creamery and bakeshop - well off the beaten path.  In addition to our favorite Zing spots, we will also visit Chef Laura's favorite Middle Eastern restaurant (she claims the falafel is the best you will find this side of the Nile).  We will also visit a tremendous local wine shop, an outstanding produce and specialty foods and flower shop, and an elegant spice and tea venue.  Come with us to the place it all began.

TASTE-FULL FAVORITES TOURS

April 3, Saturday: Wayne County

Once a month Laura and I spend a day eating our way around our favorite areas of Southeastern Michigan.   So, we thought you might want to join us.   Our stops are selected by a homegrown chef and a world traveler as wells as expect foodies from the metro-Detroit area.   Along the way you’ll pick up cooking tips, recipes, great new food finds and the best part help local grown businesses in SE Michigan.  This tour is sure to be fun-filled, fact-filled and food-filled!  Make sure you bring bags for all of the things you will be purchasing and given on this Taste-full Tours greatest hits!  This tour will be repeated often in different regions of SE Michigan!   This particular tour will focus on Oakland/North Oakland (March 6) and Wayne County (April 3).

BEER AND BBQ TOUR 

March 20, Saturday:

Our most popular tour - What could be better than being driven around and eating great BBQ all day long!? Stopping at a local brewery to wash it all down would make it better, so that's what we'll do.  The tour will feature three BBQ spots (a couple superb local venues and an out of the way treasure) and two great microbreweries, with hearty samples at each location.
